Holly Anne Scott
Holly Anne grew up in a farming community near the small Village of Windsor in Upstate New York. The area was dotted with many small towns like Windsor, filled with wonderful examples of Historic Architecture that gave her a strong connection to history, art and a love of all things beautiful.
She left home to enter College with the intent to study Fine Art and Design, but became enamored with the excitement of the Theatre. Her training as a Technical Theatre Designer soon led her towards a career in Interior Design and Theme Design.
Travels
Holly Satisfied her desire to see and experience the world by living and working in places like Washington, Hawaii, Maryland, Italy and Florida. While Design projects have landed her in many more interesting and exotic places such as, Las Vegas, Vail, Los Angeles, Florence, Rome, Stockbridge, New York, Detroit and Washington DC.
While operating a Design business for the past 20 years with her husband, Joe, and raising a family, her desire to find a more deeply connected experience, surfaced.
Italy
Holly Anne chose to take her family to Italy while she studied Fresco Restoration and Painting there. They all experienced a life changing transformation. The kind that happens when you feel like you’ve stepped back in Time. A slower pace. The importance of connection to History and People, Food and Family, Faith and Spirituality. Experiencing the Renaissance first hand. A new Passion rose to the surface for Holly.
Current Works
Her own Renaissance is occurring now. Shared connections are revealed. The Breath of Life passes from one to another.
Breathing Humanistic Life into and Animal Figure brings freedom of form for her. Freedom to express Personality Traits such as Humor, Passion, Strength and Weakness. The Portraits may be filled with sweeping symbolism and meaning… or not?
